Meet Dr. Alex
Hi, I’m Dr. Alex (she/her/hers). I’m the founder and owner of Boston Pelvic Physical Therapy. I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy with advanced training and certification in pelvic floor rehabilitation through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. I am Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certified (PRPC) with over a decade of experience as a physical therapist and pelvic health expert.
I received both my doctorate degree in Physical Therapy and undergraduate degree in Rehabilitation Science from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
I founded Boston Pelvic Physical Therapy to create a better model of care where each of you receive the time and individual attention you deserve to achieve your goals. After experiencing firsthand the lack of guidance provided for physical health and wellbeing during pregnancy and postpartum, I knew we could do better for our patients.
My specialties include pelvic floor physical therapy treatment for people who are; pregnant and postpartum, experiencing menopause, prostate cancer, and other urogynecological cancers; and patients of all gender expressions with bowel, bladder, and sexual dysfunction across all adult age groups.
While living in New Orleans, I was a dedicated partner of the NOLA Transgender Institute, working with patients undergoing gender confirming surgeries. I am proud to serve the LGBTQIA+ community.
In addition to being a PT, I love spending time with my husband and two children, getting together with my girlfriends, and enjoying good food. Some fun facts about me are that I’ve run two marathons, played rugby in college, and did a brief stint working on a vineyard in New Zealand.

Hi there! I’m Christine, a Doctor of Physical Therapy at Boston Pelvic Physical Therapy. I have advanced training in pelvic floor rehabilitation through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, as well as advanced prolapse training/pessary fitting expertise through Women’s Health Training Associates. I am a certified pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise specialist. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University at Albany and my DPT from Franklin Pierce University.
Pelvic health has become a true passion of mine. I enjoy working with all gender expressions, supporting and managing pelvic pain, bladder and bowel concerns, as well pre and post-surgical. I strive to create a safe, and encouraging space for people to move and feel better.
Outside of the clinic, I live north of Boston with my husband, and our dog, Sawyer. I enjoy trying new recipes and restaurants, traveling, and being outside. Two fun facts about me is that I recently ran the 2025 Boston Marathon and have traveled to Asia!

Meet Dr. Katie
Hello, I’m Dr. Katie (she/her)
I have my doctorate degree in physical therapy from Northeastern University and my undergraduate degree in psychology from The Catholic University of America. Both of these opportunities helped develop my love for learning about the body, embracing the benefits of movement, and helping others feel better in their own bodies.
My passion for pelvic health began from my own search for pain relief and improved quality of life. I then became certified in treating pelvic health issues through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. ** I love working together with you to guide you in understanding how to move better and create concrete steps to reaching your goals, whether that be preparing to give birth; recovering postpartum or from pelvic surgery; limiting leaking when working out, running or laughing; or improving your pain so you can enjoy intimacy pain-free. ** I also have additional training in sports medicine, a pregnancy and postpartum athleticism certification, cupping and dry needling training.
Besides being a PT, I enjoy cooking, skiing, spending time at the beach, traveling, running, and hiking around the Boston area with my husband.
